HomeMy WebLinkAbout2427 OrdinanceAE Wells, City Clerk APP_•ilVED AS TO FO Greg' Rubstello, City Attorney ORDINANCE NO. 2427 AN ORDINANCE relating to zoning, amending Section 22.12.085 of the Pasco Municipal Code, revising the defi- nition of "Auto Body Shop." WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pasco, on December 16, 1982, conducted a public hearing for the purpose of considering whether or not to amend the definition of auto body shops within Title 22 of the Pasco Municipal Code, and WHEREAS, after the conduct of said hearing, and in consider- ation of all facts, evidence, and testimony presented, the Commission concluded a more precise definition excluding non-hazardous painting activities to be appropriate for the regulation of auto body shops, and recommended the same to the City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pasco concurs with the recommendation of tne Planning Commission, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS Section One. That Section 22.12.085 of the Pasco Municipal Code hereby is amended to read as follows 22.12 085 AUTO BODY SHOP. "Auto Body Shop" means a building or a portion of a building used or arranged, intended or designed to be used for autemeb±Ie vehicle collision repair, including body, fender or frame straighten- ing, repair, er restoration, and or ±neInd±ntff the application of paint, provided, however, the application of not more than nine (9) square feet of paint to a single ve'aicle, when such application is incidental to the principal use, shall be excluded from the definition. Section Two. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect five (5) days after its passage and publication as required by law PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco this 3 day of January , 1983. 6Yi E.
