WHEREAS, a majority of the votes cast on the referendum election to the proposed "fireside annexation" attempted by the City of Pasco under Ordinance No. 2172 and dated the 7th day of July, 1980, were in opposition thereto, and WHEREAS, said referendum election defeated the proposed annexation and has made said Ordinance No. 2172 ineffective, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section One. That certain ordinance of the City of Pasco numbered 2172, passed the 7th day of July, 1980, by the Pasco City Council is hereby repealed. Section Two This ordinance shall be in full force and effect five (5) days after passage and publication according to law. E. A.
