Ruy AP • • )11, le • ORDINANCE NO. 2389 AN ORDINANCE providing for the amendment of § 9.32.020 of the Pasco Municipal Code relating to the misdemeanor of shoplifting THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section One Section 9.32.020 of the Pasco Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows. 9.32.020 SHOPLIFTING - MISDEMEANOR. A person who willfully takes possession of any goods, wares or merchandise of the value of less than seventy-±ve two hun- dred fifty dollars offered for sale by any wholesale or retail store or other mercantile establishment without the consent of the seller, with the intention of converting such goods', Wares or mer- chandise to his own use without having paid the purchase price thereof, is guilty of the misdemeanor of shoplifting, and of a violation of this section Section Two. This ordinance shall take effect five days after passage and publication according to law.
