ORDINANCE NO 2384
AN ORDINANCE relating to zoning by changing the zone classification of
certain real property in the City of Pasco from R-2
(Medium Density Residential) to R-3 (Medium Density
Residential).
WHEREAS, the revised residential development standards enacted under
Ordinance 2361 changed the permitted density of residential development within
the R-2 (Medium Density Residential) district, and
WHEREAS, the City Council directed the Planning Commission to initiate
the reclassification process for each vacant parcel previously classified R-2
and to recommend the appropriate residential zone classification most analogous
to the previously permitted density, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission conducted a public hearing
on July 15, 1982, due notice of which was properly given, and issued its
recommendation that the below-described real property be reclassified from R-2
(Medium Density Residential) to R-3 (Medium Density Residential), and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the record of the Planning
Commission proceedings and concurs in the recommendation of the Planning
Commission, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS
Section One. That the zone classification of the following described
real property situated in Pasco, Franklin County, Washington, to wit
Lots 1-7, Block 1. Morath Plat
as depicted in the map attached hereto and identified as Exhibit 1, be and the
same hereby is changed from R-2 (Medium Density Residential to R-3 (Medium
Density Residential)
Section Two. That any And all zoning maps be and hereby are amended to
conform to the aforesaid zone change.
Section Three This ordinance shall be in full force and effect after
its passage and publication as required by law
PASSED by the City Council this 2 day of Ausust 1982, and
approved by the Mayor
