ORDINANCE NO 2383
AN ORDINANCE relating to zoning by changing the zone classification of certain
real property in the City of Pasco from R-2 (Medium Density
Residential) to R-3 (Medium Density Residential)
WHEREAS, the revised residential development standards enacted under
Ordinance 2361 changed the permitted density of residential development within
the R-2 (Medium Density Residential) district, and
WHEREAS, the City Council directed the Planning Commission to initiate
the reclassification process for each vacant parcel previously classified R-2
and to recommend the.„appropriate residential zone classification most analogous
to the previously permitted density, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission conducted a public hearing
on July 15, 1982, due notice of which was properly given, and issued its
recommendation on the below-described real property be reclassified from R-2
(Medium Density Residential) to R-3 (Medium Density Residential), and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the record of the Planning
Commission proceedings and concurs in the recommendation of the Planning
Commission, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS
Section One That the zone classification of the following described
real property situated in Pasco, Franklin County, Washington, to wit
Northwest quarter of the northeast quarter of the north-
east quarter except the west 6 acres and also except
the portion described as
Beginning at the northeast corner of the west 6 acres,
thence south 280', thence east 100', thence north
280', thence west 100' to the true point of beginning,
and except the north 280' of the east 142' thereof
as depicted in the map attached hereto and identified as Exhibit 1, be and the
same is hereby changed from R-2 (Medium Density Residential) to P-3 (Medium
Density Residential)
Section Two That any and all zoning maps be and hereby are amended to
conform to the aforesaid zone change
Section Three. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect after
its passage and publication as required by law
