HomeMy WebLinkAbout2377 OrdinanceORDINANCE NO 2377 AN ORDINANCE relating to zoning by changing the zone classification of certain real property in the City of Pasco from R-3 (Medium Density Residential) to R-4 (High Density Residential) and repealing Ordinance #2233. WHEREAS, the revised residential development standards enacted under Ordinance #2361 changed the permitted density of the R-3 district from high density to medium density; and WHEREAS, the City Council directed the Planning Commission to initiate the reclassification process for each vacant parcel previously classified R-3 and to recommend the appropriate residential zone classi- fication most analogous to the previously permitted density; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on June 17, 1982, due notice of which was properly given, and issued its recommendation that the provisions of Ordinance #2233 applicable to all of the below described real Property be repealed and that a portion of the below described real property be reclassified from R-3 (Medium Density Residential) to R-4 (High Density Resident3a1); and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the record of the Planning Commission proceedings and concurs in the recommendation of the Planning Commission; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section One. That the zone classification of the following described real Property situated in Pasco, Franklin County, Washington, to wit- Lot 2, Short Plat 81-2 as depicted in the map attached hereto and identified as Exhibit I, be and the same hereby is changed from R-3 (Medium Density Residential) to R-4 (High Density Residential). Section Two. That the zone classification of the following described real property situated in Pasco, Franklin County, Washington, to wit: Lot 1, Short Plat 81-2 as depicted in the map attached hereto and identified as Exhibit I, be and the same hereby is classified R-3 (Medium Density Residential). Section Three. That Ordinance #2233 and the provisions of the concomitant agreement attached thereto be and the same hereby are repealed. Section Four. That any and all zoning maps be and hereby are amended to conform to the aforesaid zone change. Section Five. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect after its passage and publication as required by law.
