AN ORDINANCE relating to zoning by changing the
zone classification of certain real
property in the City of Pasco from
R-3 (Medium Density Residential) to
R-4 (High Density Residential).
WHEREAS, the revised residential development standards
enacted under Ordinance 2361 changed the permitted density of
the R-3 district from high density to medium density; and
WHEREAS, the City Council directed the Planning Commission
to initiate the reclassification process for each vacant parcel
previously classified R-3 and to recommend the appropriate residen-
tial zone classification most analogous to the previously permitted
density; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission conducted a public
hearing on June 17, 1982, due notice of which was properly given,
and issued its recommendation that the below-described real prop-
erty be reclassified from R-3 (Medium Density Residential) to R=4 (High
Density Residential); and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the record of the
Planning Commission proceedings and concurs in the recommendation
of the Planning Commission, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section One. That the zone classification of the following
described real property situated in Pasco, Franklin County,
Washington, to wit:
Lots 6 and 7, Block 1, North Poplar Addition
as depicted in the map attached hereto and identified as Exhibit 1,
be and the same hereby is changed from R-3 (Medium Density Residential)
to R-4 (High Density Residential).
Section Two. That any and all zoning maps be and hereby are
amended to conform to the aforesaid zone change
Section Three. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect after its passage and publication as required by law.
