A'"— APP VED AS TO FORM: reg Rubstello, City Attorney ATT Eve n We ls, City Clerk ORDINANCE NO. 2310 AN ORDINANCE relating to business licenses and regulations and amending Section 5.44.210 as amended of the Pasco Municipal Code. WHEREAS, it has been determined that the cost of providing taxi service in the City of Pasco has increased to the extent that fares should be increased; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That Section 5.44.210 as amended of the Pasco Municipal Code be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: 5.44.210 FARE SCHEDULE. It is unlawful for any operator or driver in charge of any taxi cab to receive any greater fare than is spec- ified in the following schedule: The fare to be charged herein shall be based on time and mileage as follows: (1) For one passenger, for the first one-tenth mile or fraction thereof, One and 50/100 Dollars ($1.50); (2) For each additional one-tenth mile or fraction thereof, Fifteen Cents ($.15); (3) For each additional passenger, Fifty Cents ($.50). (4) Waiting time after the first three minutes shall be computed and charged at the rate of Twelve and No/100 Dollars ($12.00) per hour; (5) For children under seven years of age when accompanied by an adult, no charge. Section 2.
