ORDINANCE NO. 2296
AN ORDINANCE relating to subdivisions by amending Chapter
21.24 of the Pasco Municipal Code.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission conducted a public
hearing on August 20, 1981, due notice of which was properly
given, for the purpose of considering whether or not Chapter
21.24 of the PMC should be amended to provide for reduced lot
widths within a planned development; and
WHEREAS, the conclusion of said public hearing and sub-
sequent deliberations, the Planning Commission found the
proposed amendments to be in the best interest of the Pasco
community and recommended the City Council amend Section
21.24.010 of the Pasco Municipal Code to provide for reduced
lot widths within a planned development; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered and concurs with
the recommendation of the City Planning Commission; NOW
THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Pasco Municipal Code section 21.24.010
be and the same hereby is amended to read as follows:
PMC 21.24.010 MINIMUM DIMENSIONS.
The minimum width for residential lots
shall be sixty feet for rectangular lots and
fifty feet at the front building line for lots
with side lot lines radial to the street lines,
except that the minimum width for residential
lots approved under the authority of the planned
density development '(Chapter' 22.70) may be re-
duced to not less' than thirty-five (35) feet.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage and publication as required by law.
