ORDINANCE No, 2273
AN ORDIN ANCE vacating a certain portion of Broadway Street and
Yakima Street and a certain alley in the City of
Pasco.
WHEREAS, a petition signed by more than two thirds (2/3) of
the owners of property abutting a certain portion of Broadway Street
and Yakima Street lying between Blocks 162 and 163, Pasco Land
Company's First Addition to Pasco, has been submitted to the City
Council of the City of Pasco; and
WHEREAS, all steps and procedures required by law to vacate
the portion of streets hereinafter described have been duly taken
and performed; NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That that portion of Broadway Street and Yakima
Street lying between the extended east and west lines of Blocks 162
and 163, Pasco Land Company's First Addition to Pasco, be and the
same is hereby vacated and the property so vacated shall vest in the
rightful owners thereof and shall attach to the lots or grounds
bordering thereon, all in the manner provided by law.
Section 2: That all of the north-south alley in Blocks 162
and 163, Pasco Land Company's First Addition to Pasco, be and the
same is hereby vacated and the property so vacated shall vest in
the rightful owners thereof and shall attach to the lots or grounds
bordering thereon, all in the manner provided by law.
Section 3: That a certified copy of this Ordinance be recorded
by the City Clerk of the City of Pasco in and with the office of the
Auditor of Franklin County, Washington.
Section 4: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
after its passage and publication as required by law.
