ORDINANCE NO. 2254
AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 2245 in order to correct
the legal description relating to the vacation
of a portion of "C" Street in the City of
Pasco.
WHEREAS, all steps and procedures required by law to vacate
the street hereinafter described were duly taken and performed by
the City Council of the City of Pasco prior to the adoption of
Ordinance No. 2245; and
WHEREAS, the correct legal desctiption was provided to the
City Council and all interested parties during the public hearing
and deliberations relating to the vacation of said portion of "C"
Street; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2245, as a result of an administrative
error, contained an error in the legal description which should be
amended; NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2245 be and same
is hereby amended to read as follows:
That that portion of "C" Street lying between a point
twenty (20) feet west of the west line of Blocks 14 and
17 and a point ten (10) feet east of the east line of
Blocks 14 and 17, exclusive of the north twenty (20)
feet lying between the west line of Lot 10, Block 14,
and the east line of Lot 11, Block 14, all in Riverside
Addition to Pasco, be and the same is hereby vacated
and the property so vacated shall vest in the rightful
owners thereof and shall attach to the lots or grounds
bordering thereon, all in a manner provided by law,
subject to retention of the following described
easements:
(a) An easement 40 feet in width, being the south
20 feet of the north half and the north 20
feet of the south half of "C" Street, for the
construction, repair and maintenance of public
utilities;
(b) An easement 40 feet in width, being the south
20 feet of the north half and the north 20 cr) feet of the south half of "C" Street, all C1/4.1 lying east of the extended east line of Lot
11, Block 14, and the extended east line of
Lot 20, Block 17, for public access; c-

(c) An easement 20 feet in width, being the north
20 feet of that portion of "C" Street lying
adjacent to the south line of Lot 10, Block
14, for the repair and maintenance of a single
overhead electrical power service line.
Section 2. That a certified copy of this Ordinance be
recorded by the City Clerk of the City of Pasco in and with the
office of the Auditor of Franklin County, Washington.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
upon its passage and publication as required by law.
