HomeMy WebLinkAbout3781 ResolutionRESOLUTION NO. 37!R A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A NOTICE OF INTENT TO COMMENCE ANNEXATION PROCEEDINGS FOR THE D & D ANNEXATION, PROVIDING A DETERMINATION ON THE BOUNDARY TO BE ANNEXED AND WHETHER SIMULTANEOUS ZONING AND THE ASSUMPTION OF BONDED INDEBTEDNESS WILL BE REQUIRED. WHEREAS, the owners of property in the south half of the Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 22, Township 9 North, Range 29 East, WM have filed a Notice of Intent to annex to the City of Pasco; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pasco has reviewed the Notice of Intent and has determined annexation of the territory would support the provision of municipal services within the Pasco Urban Growth Area and is in the best interest of the Pasco community; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: A) That the City will accept the proposed territory to be annexed as depicted in Exhibit "I" and described in Exhibit "2" attached hereto. B) That the territory to be annexed will not require simultaneous adoption of zoning regulations. Zoning will be determined through a public hearing process with input from affected property owners. C) That the annexation area will not be required to assume any portion of existing City bonded indebtedness. PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco this 17a' day of July, 2017.
