A. Discuss BNSF comment concerning helping the museum get started
financially.
B. Report on Interviews and planned interviews.
C. Discuss "Historic Pasco' Presentation "mock up."
D. Discuss potential questions for the following interviewees/segments:
(1) Discuss Altha (Skogley) Simmelink-Perry (NAS Pasco) interview.
(2) Brad Peck (Moore Mansion)
(3) John Morgan (Schools)
E. CLG East Pasco sites of African American Cultural Significance Grant update:
Tanya Bowers & Robert Bauman

HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION - Minutes
REGULAR MEETING 5:15 P.M. May 10, 2017
I. 5:15—CALL TO ORDER:
II. 5:15—ROLL CALL: Present: Dan Stafford, Marilynn Baker, Malin Bergstrom,
Tom Brandon, Devi Tate.
III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
A. April 12, 2017 -- Approved
IV. 5:20—OLD BUSINESS:
A. None
V. PUBLIC HEARINGS:
A. None
VI. WORKSHOP:
A. Commissioners discussed the possibility of creating a "mock up" of the
"Historic Pasco" Presentation video using the available PowerPoint
presentations and adding snippets from the Frank Pontarolo, Joe Jackson,
and Bob Christensen (Railroad) interviews (assigned to Staffl.
B. Commissioners requested interview availability for Jon funfar for the months
of May & June (assigned to Staffl.
C. Commissioers discussed requesting data from Robert Bauman to be included
in a future East Pasco sites of African American Cultural Significance video
segment (assigned to Staffl, and whether CBC students working on the
projects could present to the Commission. Given time constraints,
commissioners deemed it unlikely shedules student schedules would align
with HPC meetings.
D. Commissioners inquired after the Lara Hastings interview of Altha (Skogley)
Simmelink-Perry (NAS Pasco) and whether an interview focused pon NAS
Pasco was imminent. Commissioner Bergstrom indicated that the former
interview was not NAS Pasco focused but that scheduling for a future
interview was in the works.
II. 6:25—OTHER BUSINESS:
A. Commissioner Bergstrom noted a benefit "Fly-In" for the Save the Old Tower
Project to be held at Bergstrom Aircraft on May 27, 2017 from 10:00 am to
4:00 pm
