Discuss "Historic Pasco' Presentation (1) Review approximately 1.5 hours of interview video with Bruce Whitemarsh and Jim Rabideau (NAS Pasco). Suggest potential clips for NAS Pasco segment. (2) Suggest potential clips from Historic Pasco Railroad interviews. B. Discuss potential questions for the following interviewees/segments: (1) Discuss Altha (Skogley) Simmelink-Perry (NAS Pasco) interview. (2) Brad Peck (Moore Mansion) (3) John Morgan (Schools) C. CLG East Pasco sites of African American Cultural Significance Grant update: Tanya Bowers & Robert Bauman II. 5:55—OTHER BUSINESS: A. April 12, 2017 I. 7:00—CALL TO ORDER: II. 7:00—ROLL CALL: Present: Marilynn Baker, Malin Bergstrom, Tom Brandon, Devi Tate. Absent: Dan Stafford (Excused). III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: A. March 8, 2017 -- Approved IV. 7:05—OLD BUSINESS: A. None V. PUBLIC HEARINGS: A. None VI. WORKSHOP: A. Commissioner Bergstrom briefly noted that she has approximately 1.5 hours of interview video with Bruce Whitemarsh and Jim Rabideau (NAS Pasco) which the Commission agreed to review at its next meeting. The Altha (Skogley) Simmelink-Perry (NAS Pasco) interview has not been scheduled yet. B. Tanya Bowers 8v Robert Bauman discussed the proposal for a CLG grant which could allow them to explore East Pasco sites of African American Cultural Significance. Ms. Bowers will follow up with the Commission and staff via e-mail. C. Commissionar Bergstrom also shared that a colleague, Chad Thomason, has created a series of"then and now" photo sets comparing historic photos with their current day sites. The Commission discussed creating a cell phone virtual tour allowing the user to "view" the old strucutres at their current sites through an app on their tablets or cell phones. Commissioner Bergstrom also alerted the Commission to the "Vintage Tri-Cities" Facebook page. II. 8:25—OTHER BUSINESS: A. Next Meeting May 10, 2017 III. 8:30—ADJOURNMENT
