CEB2016-1507 414 W COLUMBIA ST-WOO'S CORPORATION, owner Rosanna Johnson, Code Enforcement Officer Description: Portable space healers are being utilized in several units as a p ermanent source of h eat. Propane operated burners are being used lo cook both inside units and immediately outside in the common area walkway. IFC 304.2 (I ) Vio lation: Storing flammable or combustib le mater ial s and/or rubbi sh in a way that produces conditions that create a nuisance or hazard to the pub lic hea lth , safety or we lfare. (2) Co rrect ive Action: Remove all combustible and/or flammable material s from rooms and discont inue use on the property. Description: Trash litter and debris dropped throughout the property. IPMC 302.1 (I) Violation: The exterior structure or equipme nt is not in good repair, is structurally unsound, or is in an unsanitary condition. (2) Correct ive Action: Remove all mate rials and item s and/or remove or repair eq uipment around the prope 1ty whi ch is creating unsafe or un sa nit ary conditions and maintain in a clean, safe and sanit ary condition. Description: Air Conditioner exteriors have mesh wiring installed as a cover. Th e mesh throughout is damaged , bent, sticking out, unsecured and poses a safety hazard. Description: Large decorative openings in walkway railings are missing the original metal inserts, have damaged inserts or inferior materials not capable to withstand imp osed loads have been installed. All areas must have a minimum 318" thick p iece of plywood in stalled and secured. Description: Exterior paint is in poor condition (peeling, c hipping, jlakinl!) causing exposed rusted railings and weath er deteriorated wood trim and fascia. Description: Guests reported bedbug infest ation in several units, b edbugs were observed crawling on an o ccupant of a unit on the 2nd floor. IPMC 309.1 CEB Age nda Vio lat ion: Fa ilu re to exterm inate and main tain the s tructure free from in sec t and rodent infesta t io n. Co rrective Action: Promptl y exterminate the structure by approve d processes that will not be inj ur ious to human hea lth. Maintain structure free of in festat io n and take proper precaut ions to preve nt re infe station. The owner is requi re d to submit a wr itte n pe st control plan prepared by a pes t contro l company, carrying an act ive City of Pasco bus ine ss lic ense , Page 4of 10 and cop ies o f the se rvice tic ket. Description: laundry room sink is connected to hoses which hang in the sink and the drain line (no p -trap installed) is connected directly t o the floor drain-this poses a cross contamination hazard. IPMC 505.2 (I) Violation: Water supp ly is not protected or maintained free from contam ination. (2) Corrective Action: In s ta ll approved vacuum breakers at ho ses and/or correct all issues which po se a contaminat ion hazard . Descriptfon: Bathroom sink faucets do not provide sufficient water supply volume and pressure.
