Date: July 21, 2016 COP 029 — 120 V Power to LCP-251 Background Information: Per Change Order Proposal 12, the location of LCP-251 was switched with the location of LCP-250 so that the control panel with the VFD would be protected inside the sludge pump room. LCP-251 was installed by the wet well where LCP-250 was originally planned. However, the original plans did not include power to the control panel located by the wet well. Therefore, additional conduit must be provided to provide 120 V power from the adjacent light pole to LCP-251. Cost Evaluation: The change order pricing is $1,906.10. These costs appear reasonable. If the power connection had been added as a part of Change Order Proposal 12, the cost likely would have been higher because more conduit would have been needed to provide power from the sludge pumping room. The final additive price for this change item is..........................................................$1,906.10 Increase contract time (calendar days)..........................................................................1 days Page 1 of 1 Memo To: Ahmad Qayoumi, P.E. - Public Works Director From: Leah C. Fisk, E.I.T. - Associate Engineer Date: July 27, 2016 Re: Change Order Number 6 for the Primary Clarifier Project ' R CITY OF PASCO iilllll 1111lIIII1 I IIIIIP Public Works This memo has been provided as supporting documentation for change order number 5 for the primary clarifier project. This change order is for a total of $2,070.02, including tax, and includes the following items: 1. 120 Volt Power to LCP-251—$2,070.02 This change order includes the cost of additional conduit that was needed to power LCP-250. This additional conduit is needed because the location of LCP-251 was switched with the location of LCP-250 so that the control panel with the VFD would be protected inside the sludge pump room; rather than next to the primary clarifier where it was originally planned to be installed. It's believed that the gases from the clarifier would shorten the expected life of the VFD. The original plans did not include power to the control panel located by the wet well. Steve Brewer and Dan Ford approved the change order on July 27, 2016. Please sign the attached change order. If you have any questions or any additional information is needed, please let me know.
