Description: PROPANE TANKS NOT LOCATED ON THE VEHICLE. PMC 5.10A. 090
(1) Violation:
Failure to comply with all laws, rules and regulations regarding food handling and/or failing to make your vehicle used
for the sale of food comply with all the laws, rules and regulations respecting such vehicles as established by the
Benton -Franklin Health Department and as set forth in the Pasco Municipal Code.
(2) Corrective Action: CONDITION OF LICENSE: PROPANE TANKS MUST BE ON THE MOBILE VEHICLE.
Make all necessary corrections to comply with all laws, rules and regulations pertaining to vehicles and/or food
handling procedures as set forth by the Benton -Franklin Health Department and Pasco Municipal Code.
Description: ALL SIGNS MUST BE ON THE STATIONARY VENDOR VEHICLE. PMC 5.10A.100 (D)
(1) Violation:
Signs which cannot be contained on the vehicle or conveyance used to sell food are not permitted.
(2) Corrective Action:
Remove all unpermitted signs that are not attached to the vehicle or conveyance.
Description: SMALL MOBILE CART NOT PERMITTED ON THIS SITE. PMC 5.10A.100 (K)
(1) Violation:
Stationary vendors cannot locate within 250 feet of another stationary vendor except where vendors are separated by a
public street.
(2) Corrective Action:
Follow City approved site plan or discontinue all vending activity and submit new site plan to City for review.

Description: FAIL URE TO LICENSE THE SMALL DOG ON SITE (NOTA PUPPY) PMC 8.02.190
(1) Violation:
All dogs over seven (7) months of age must be licensed with the City of Pasco.

(2) Corrective Action:
License all dogs over the age of seven (7) months with the City of Pasco (please call (509) 545-3488 for more
information).

Description: Right of way permit required for driveway approach. PMC 12.04.040
(1) Violation:
Improving or modifying any portion of the public right-of-way within the City by the construction of sidewalks,
handicapped ramps, crosswalks, curbs, or driveways, or doing any work in or upon the public right-of-way whatsoever,
without first obtaining a right-of-way permit from the City.
(2) Corrective Action:
Discontinue ALL work in the right-of-way until such time as a right-of-way permit is obtained from the City. If no
permit can be obtained, all unpermitted work must be removed.
Description: City of Pasco building permit required for addtion to concrete driveway PMC16.05.030
(1) Violation:
Installing any impervious surface improvement upon private property within the City of Pasco without first obtaining a
building permit authorizing such improvement.
(2) Corrective Action:
Apply for and secure necessary City of Pasco building permit. If no permit can be obtained, all unpermitted work must
be removed.
Description: Business materials must be stored out ofsite in an encolsed structure and only one occupational
vehicle can be stored on property. PMC 25.66.040 (6)
(1) Violation:
Storing materials, supplies, products, byproducts or equipment pertaining to the home occupation outside of an enclosed
structure.
(2) Corrective Action:
Move all items as described above to a fully -enclosed building or remove those items from the property. Only one (1)
occupational vehicle which does not exceed 14,000 Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) may be stored on the property.

Description: Vehicle must be parked on an approved surface. PMC 25.78.030 (4)
(1) Violation:
Vehicles are being parked on an unapproved surface (such as dirt or grass).
(2) Corrective Action:
Park ALL vehicles on an approved surface such as asphalt, gravel or concrete.
Description: Overgrown weeds throughout property. PMC 9.60.030 (16)
(l) Violation:
Weeds, noxious weeds, grass, and other vegetation which constitutes a fire hazard, encroaches on sidewalks or
neighboring properties, is damaging public improvements, impairs the vision of traffic signs or signals, and/or has
reached a height of twelve inches (12").
(2) Corrective Action:
Eradicate weeds by chemicals, cutting or other acceptable means so that they do not exceed twelve inches (12"),
encroach on neighboring properties, constitute a fire hazard, etc. Weeds that are cut or removed by the root must be
removed from the property and lawfully disposed of.

Description: Failure to maintain landscape in a healthy growing condtion. PMC 25.75. 110 (1)
(1) Violation:
Failing to maintain landscaping and/or screening free of weeds and trash and not providing, protecting, and permanently
maintaining all landscaping material, areas and plants in a healthy, growing condition, replacing it when necessary.
(2) Corrective Action:
Remove and lawfully dispose of all weeds and trash and replace any dead/dying plants and other vegetation. Maintain
landscaped areas in compliance with the provisions described above.

Chairperson Glatt called the regular meeting of the Code Enforcement Board to order at 7:00 p.m.

Board Member Gutierrez moved, seconded by Board Member Gottschalk, that the minutes of the April
14, 2016 meeting be approved. The motion carried unanimously.
D. DETERMINATION HEARINGS:
Chairperson Glatt explained the procedure and purpose for the meeting, noting that the City of Pasco was
the Petitioner and property owners and their authorized representatives who had appeared to discuss the
alleged violations of the Pasco Municipal Code were the Respondents.
There were no hearings as the Respondents did not show.

Rawlinson. Mr. Rawlinson will be in attendance at the June Meeting.

Please find attached copies of the Code Enforcement Activity Reports for the
month of April:
(1) CEB Resolution
The resolution shows all the Code Enforcement Board actions and cases
that the Board has ruled on at their monthly hearing.
(2) Status Report Code Enforcement Inspections, April, 2016
This report lists all inspections performed by individual staff for the
month. To be counted as an "inspection" a written "correction notice"
must have been issued as a result of the initial inspection.
