A RESOLUTION approving the Program Year 2016 Community Development Block Grant
Allocations and Annual Work Plan.
WHEREAS, staff has prepared the Program Year 2016 Annual Work Plan for activities totaling
$665,000 from estimated entitlement;Now, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO:
Section 1. That the Pasco City Council hereby approves the Annual Work Plan as follows:
Activity Funding
CDBG Program Administration $120,000.00
Civic Center-Youth Recreation Specialist $20,000.00
Martin Luther King Community Center Recreation Specialist $20,000.00
Senior Citizen's Center Recreation Specialist $30,000.00
YMCA Martin Luther King Community Center Recreation Program $20,000.00
Downtown Facade Improvement Program(Service Area) $40,000.00
Pasco Specialty Kitchen- Small Businesses (Job Creation) $25,000.00
Pasco Specialty Kitchen- Microenterprises(Businesses) $30,000.00
Pasco Specialty Kitchen- Facility Improvements Flooring $72,000.00
Pasco Specialty Kitchen- Facility Improvements&Façade $15,000.00
Second Chance Center(SCC)-Contingent 0
Peanuts Park Restoration—Phase I Design $125,000.00
Code Enforcement Officer $48,000.00
Downtown Revitalization and Safety Improvements-Contingent $100,000.00
Sidewalk Construction- Contingent 0
TOTAL $665,000.00
Section 2. That the Pasco City Council hereby approves unfunded and partially funded projects
above as contingencies in the annual action plan.
