RE: 91h AND WASHINGTON SEWER LIFT STATION MONORAIL EXTENSION
DESIGN
Dear Teresa:
Thank you for the opportunity to provide the City of Pasco (City) with a proposal for structural
engineering services on the proposed Sewer Lift Station Monorail Extension Project. This
proposal is for full design and construction assistance of the monorail extension. The following
is our understanding of the Project scope:
PROJECT SCOPE:
The Project consists of designing the support structure and monorail beam so it can be extended
between five (5) and ten (10) additional feet out from the building.
BASIC SERVICES:
1. Meet with you and or your staff at various times to discuss the Project's requirements.
2. Visit the site to review existing conditions and original construction drawings.
3. Provide structural design and construction documents. The design includes monorail
beam extension and support structure required. The design will be based on the
International Building Code (IBC) and Crane Manufactures Association of America
(CMAA) for underhung cranes and monorails. Two (2) copies of the structural
calculations will be provided for the City's review.
4. Construction drawings will be developed in AutoCAD.
5. Documents will be transmitted electronically to your office for review and coordination.
6. Construction engineering services will be provided that include construction
observations, responses to requests for information, and construction engineering.
7. We are anticipating our design effort on this Project will start and be completed in the
month of July, 2015.
EXCLUSIONS:
1. Design and construction engineering services for significant Owner requested changes to
this scope of work or the approved construction documents.
2. Payment of state and local permits.
We propose to do the above scope of work on a time and material bases, for a not to exceed fee
of $3,500.
