HomeMy WebLinkAboutN-255 - Exit InterviewsCITY OF PASCO ADMINISTRATIVE ORDERS Administrative Order No. 255 Personnel Policies & Procedures Subject: Exit Interviews Initial Effective Date: April 2, 1986 Revised 3/30/15 A roved M This Administrative Order is effective March 30, 2015, and supersedes Administrative Order No. 51, dated 04/02/86. I. PURPOSE: The purpose of this order is to establish a policy and process whereby exit interviews will be offered to fulltime employees prior to separation of service from the City. The intent of the exit interview is to provide an opportunity for departing employees to provide feedback of their employment. The information obtained will be used as a tool for improvement of City operations. II. DEPARTMENTS AFFECTED: All III. POLICY: Reasonable efforts will be made, to the extent allowed by law, to keep the information provided confidential. IV. PROCEDURE: A. Once an employee provides notice of separation from employment, Human Resources (HR) will provide an "Exit Interview Form" to the employee and request review of the form in preparation for the actual exit interview; at the employee's option, the form may be fully or partially completed in writing and submitted to HR. Forms submitted to HR will become part of the personnel file. B. An exit interview will be scheduled and conducted by HR. The employee may request an exit interview with the City Manager or Deputy City Manager.
