I. 5:15—CALL TO ORDER:
II. 5:15—ROLL CALL: Present: Marilynn Baker, Malin Bergstrom, Tom Brandon,
Dan Stafford, Devi Tate. Guest: Jon Funfar, City of Pasco Communications

VI. WORKSHOP:
A. City of Pasco Communications Specialist Jon Funfar instructed the HPC on
steps required to convert the "Historic Pasco' PowerPoint Presentation into a
series of discrete 10-15 minute video segments, as follows:
a) Video should be "script-driven;" begin with about 10-15 minutes of
narration.
b) Introduce photos, imagery, video clips to match narration. About 4 photos
per minute or 40 for a 10-minute segment (60 for 15 minutes)
recommended.
c) Add music, sound effects to emphasize visual and narrated cues, and to
enhance the "feel" of the video.
B. Examples of locally-produced historic videos: Ellensburg,
C. Goal: Historic Video Segment 1: Ainsworth/Railroad segment by September
a) Action Item 1: Have script prepared by next meeting.
D. Need to make original PowerPoint available to Commissioners (DropBox;
Google Share?).
