This trial can be dredged out using pumps and discharged back into the Columbia River. Below is a breakout of equipment and labor in order to >rm this task. It is anticipated to take two days to complete this work, therefor two days would be requested to be added to the schedule. This change order was requested by the Contractor. After the preconstruct on meeting Ballard Marine Construction performed a dive which showed that there was considerable sediment and debris in the intake structure wetwell. This sediment and debris must be removed before the new intake screens can be installed. This material will be dredged out using pumps and discharged back into the Columbia River via the existing discharge chute. Ballard Marine Construction has provided a cost breakdown for the extra cleanup work. They have also requested an additional 2 working days to complete the wetwell cleanup. The last routinely scheduled wetwell cleaning cost approximately $5,000 in 2012. Io2— This change order will add 2 working days to the contract for a total ofWorking Days. The pre-tax cost associated with this change order is $10,970. The additional contract days extends the new completion date on June 1, 2015. The additional two days will change the completion date for Phase 1 from March 4, 2015 to March 6, 2015. This change order was requested by the Contractor. After the preconstruction meeting Ballard Marine Construction performed a dive which showed that the wall thickness shown on the construction plans was inaccurate. This issue has caused the need to make some revisions to the original construction plan. Ballard Marine Construction has been worked to resolve the issue with the Design Engineer RI -12 Engineering. Ballard Marine Construction has provided a cost breakdown for the extra construction work. Additionally, the redesign has changed Ballard Marine Construction's project schedule. Due to this they have requested the addition of 4 working days to allow for the time to correct the issue. This change order will add 4 working days to the contract for a total of 106 Working Days. The pre-tax cost associated with this change order is $$48,665. The additional contract days extends the new completion date on May 28, 2015. The additional day will change the completion date for Phase 1 from March 6, 2015 to March 12, 2015. This change has no effect on the water work window, which will still end on February 28, 2015. 0 Page 1
