WHEREAS, the City of Pasco, a municipal corporation organized
under the laws of the State of Washington; and Remsco, Inc., a
Washington corporation, and Spinco, Inc., a Washington corporation, a
joint venture, d/b/a Red Lion Motor Inn, have entered into an agreement
regarding the sale of certain real property presently owned by the
City, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO:
That the City Council of—the City of Pa co does hereby authorize
the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the Controf Sale of approximately
sixteen (16) acres of land presently owned by the City of Pasco with
Remsco, Inc., and Spinco, Inc., a joint venture, d/b/a Red Lion Motor
Inn. The City Council of the City of Pasco does hereby approve of the
Contract of Sale referred to above, a copy of which is attached hereto,
marked Exhibit "A", and incorporated herein as though fully set forth
at length.
The City Council of the City of Pasco does further authorize
the Mayor and City Clerk to execute any documents which may be needed
in order to cancel any of the leases pertaining to any of this land
previously entered into between the parties and to execute such further
documents as may be needed to effectuate the transfer of th& land
described in Exhibit "A".
PASSED by the City Council of.the City of Pasco this 19 day
of October 1979.
