A RESOLUTION authorizing the expenditure of funds from the water
sewer utility fund to pay the cost of consultant's
services necessary for preliminary planning of the
Columbia East Area Water and Sewer Local Improvement
District.
WHEREAS, the city of Pasco is considering the establishment of
a water and sewer local improvement district for the Columbia East
Area;
WHEREAS, the R.R. Jump Consulting Engineers have been employed
to provide the requisite information needed for a public meeting
and for a resolution of intent to create such a local improvement
district; and
WHEREAS, the city has received the services contracted for;
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
The city manager or his designee is hereby authorized to draw
upon .funds contained in the water -sewer utility fund in an amount
not to exceed Sixty -Five Thousand & 00/100 ($65,000.00) Dollars for
payment to R.R. Jump Consulting Engineers for services provided in
the preliminary planning of the Columbia East Area Water and Sewer
Local. Improvement District. The monies withdrawn from the fund shall
be repaid within six months of the date of withdrawal and must be
repaid at an annual interest of 8.25 percent. The monies shall be
repaid from the local improvement district fund if such is created
or from such other funds as may lawfully be permitted.
