WHEREAS, it appears that on September 20, 1978, Staci
Williams filed a claim against the city for damage to her vehicle
occurring on June 1, 1976,
WHEREAS, the damage to the claimant's vehicle was apparently
sustained as a result of another vehicle colliding with the
claimant's vehicle; this other vehicle was apparently driven by
Ann Howard; that Ann Howard's vehicle was being pursued by a city
police officer in the lawful performance of his duty, and
WHEREAS, the city police officer's pursuant was not negligent
or in any manner legally responsible for the damages to Staci
William's vehicle; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO:
The city of Pasco denies the claim of Staci Williams.
