JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 1175
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PASCO AND THE CITY 0= KENNEWICK
CONCERNING A STUDY OF THE INTER -CITY BRIDGE.
WHEREAS, the City of Pasco and the City of Kennewick have worked together
to plan and construct a bridge across the Columbia River between the two cities;
and
WHEREAS, the Federal Highway Administration has also been instrumental in
assisting the cities in the construction of the bridge; and
WHEREAS, a request has been received from the Federal Highway Administration
for a proposed Wind and Structure Motion Study of the Inter -City Bridge; and
WHEREAS, the cities wish to assist the Federal Highway Administration in the
study as long as their requests for assistance are reasonable and do not interfere
with other City related duties or functions; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED JOINTLY BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO AND THE
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENNEWICK:
Section 1. That the Inter -City Bridge will be made available for a proposed
Wind and Structure Motion Study.
Section 2. That the Study will be conducted by the Federal Highway
Administration.
