A RESOLUTION of the City of Pasco setting procedure for assessing
and collecting golf season ticket fees.
WHEREAS, the City adopted a new rate for season tickets at the
Pasco Municipal Golf Course, and
WHEREAS, prior to March 20, 1978, the City collected season
ticket charges on the anniversary of the date the ticket was
originally purchased, and
WHEREAS, on March 20, 1978, the City changed the procedure and
now requires all season tickets to be renewed as of January 1, 1978,
and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to provide an equitable method of
changing from the
twelve month anniversary date basis of selling season tickets to the
January first annual renewal date for purchasing season tickets; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO:
Section 1. Commencing January 1, 1979, all season tickets sold
during each calendar year shall be valid for a one year period, January
first through December 31st.
Section 2. Any person who has purchased a twelve month season
ticket in 1978 prior to the effective date of this resolution, which
is valid for any portion of 1979 and who purchases a season ticket
in 1979, shall be given a pro rata discount on said 1979 purchase price
for each full month the twelve month ticket is effective in 1979.
Section 3. Any person who purchases a season ticket after the
effective date of this resolution during 1978 shall be required to
pay a pro rata.amount of the yearly charge for each month or part of
a month which remains in 1978.
Section 4. This Resolution is effective on its date of passage.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco this 15 day of
May 1978.
