WHEREAS for the past several years the City of Pasco in conjunction
with the City of Kennewick has undertaken to construct a bridge crossing the
Columbia River between the two cities, and
WHEREAS said bridge is nearly completed and ready for service and in
need of a formal name;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO:
That the new bridge under construction between the cities of Pasco and
Kennewick scheduled for completion in the summer of 1978 be officially designated
and named the Ed Hendler Inter -City Bridge.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco, Washington, this
17 day of . April , 1978.
