HomeMy WebLinkAbout1159 Resolutionr RESOLUTION NO. 1159 ✓7f /7k WHEREAS the City of Pasco is an optional municipal code city operating under the provisions of Title 35A R.C.W.; and WHEREAS R.C.W. 35A.13.033 provides that the City may by resolution place before the voters of the City a proposition to designate the person elected to council position number one as the Mayor of the Council with the powers and duties as set forth in R.C.W. 35A.13.030; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO: That there be placed on the ballot of the September, 1978, special election to be held on the third Tuesday of September, 1978, a proposition to designate the person elected to council position number one as the Mayor of the Council and that, if approved, at all subsequent general elections at which council position number one is on. the ballot that the person who is elected to position number one shall become the Mayor of the City of -Pasco upon taking office.
