A RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT POLICY
PLAN AND CREATING THE PASCO FUTURE COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Pasco has heretofore
taken steps to prepare a Community Development Policy Plan, and
WHEREAS, that plan is currently being developed, and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to establish an advisory commission
to be called the Pasco Future Commission to develop, with the assistance
of city staff and its consultants, the desired future, long. -range goals
and policy options which will be incorporated into the City of Pasco's
Community Development Policy Plan, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO:
That the Pasco Future Commission be and the same is hereby
created for the purpose of advising the Council of the City of Pasco
in the development, with the assistance of city staff and its consultants,16
the desired future, long-range goals and policy options which will be
incorporated into the City of Pasco's Community Development Policy Plan.
Said commission shall contain up to 31 members, shall elect a chairperson
and set its own rules of operation and report to the Council periodically
on the commission's activities.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco, Washington,
this 21st day of November , 1977.
