A RESOLUTION RELATING TO COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT POLICY
PLANNING PROCESS AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF PASCO TO
RETAIN THE SERVICES OF MR. WALTER OBERST TO PREPARE A
HISTORY OF PASCO.
WHEREAS the City of Pasco has heretofore commenced the
preparation of a community development policy plan, and
WHEREAS a prepared history of the City of Pasco is an
integral part of that plan, and
WHEREAS it is in the best interest of the Citv of Pasco
to retain the services of Mr. Walter Oberst for the purpose of
preparing a history of Pasco; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO:
That the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to
execute on behalf of the City of Pasco an agreement with Walter
Oberst substantially in the form of the one attached hereto and
by this reference incorporated to prepare a history of Pasco as part
of the City of Pasco's community development policy plan, provided,
however, that the contract fee shall not exceed One Thousand Two
Hundred Fifty & 00/100 ($1,250.00) Dollars.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Pasco, Washington,
this 19 day of September 1977.
