A RESOLUTION RELATING TO SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL
EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT WITH BASIN DISPOSAL,
COLLECTION OF GARBAGE IN THE CITY OF PASCO
AND AUTHORIZING
INC., FOR THE
WHEREAS the City of Pasco has found it desirable to
continue its contractual relationship with Basin Disposal, Inc., d/b/a
Pasco Garbage Service, for the collection of solid waste within the
City of Pasco, and
WHEREAS Basin Disposal, Inc., d/b/a Pasco Garbage Service
has warranted and represented to the City of Pasco that it is fully
able and qualified to enter into a contract with the City of Pasco
to provide the quality and level of garbage collection service to the
City of Pasco; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO:
That the Mayor of the City of Pasco be and he is hereby
authorized to execute on behalf of the City of Pasco a contract with
Basin Disposal, Inc., d/b/a Pasco Garbage Service for the purpose of
collecting solid waste within the City of Pasco, said contract to be
for a term of five (5) years commencing on October 1, 1977, and
terminating on September 30, 1982, and to be substantially in the form
and upon the terms of the agreement attached hereto and by this
reference incorporated herein.
