RESOLUTION NO. 1107
WHEREAS there exits within the City of Pasco the following
described unincorporated territory containing less than 100 acres
and having at least 80% of its boundaries contiguous to the City
of Pasco, and
WHEREAS there resides as nearly as can be determined within
the following described area 6 voters, and
WHEREAS it appears to be in the best interest of the City of
Pasco to initiate the process pursuant to R.C.W. 35A.14.295, et seq,
by which to annex said hereinafter described area to the City of
Pasco; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO:
That the City of Pasco will annex the following described
property:
That portion of E1/2 of El/2 of SW1/4 of NW1/4 of SE1/4
lying North of P.S.H. #3 and also El/2 of NW1/4 of NW1/4
of SE1/4 except the W1/2 of the SE1/4 of the NW1/4 of the
NW1/4 of the SE1/4 of Section 25, Township 9 North, Range
29 E.W.M., located in Franklin County, Washington.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a public hearing on the proposed
annexation of the above described be held on Monday, the 21 day
of November, , 1977, at 8:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers
of the City of Pasco, at which time all interested persons are invited
to appear and voice approval or disapproval of the proposed annexation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the City of Pasco give
notice of said hearing by publishing this Resolution at least once
a week for two weeks prior to the date of said hearing in one or
more newspapers of general circulation within the City of Pasco and
one or more newspapers of general circulation within the area to be
annexed, all in a manner provided by law.
PASSED by the City Council this 6 day of September, 1977.
