A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PETITION OF INITIATING PARTIES
FOR PROPOSED ANNEXATION
WHEREAS the owners of more than 100 of value, according to
the assessed valuation for general taxation, of the property herein-
after described have heretofore filed with the Council of the City
of Pasco their notice of intention to commence annexation proceedings
to the City of Pasco of the said property, and
WHEREAS the City Council on July 19, 1977, held a meeting
with the initiating parties pursuant to R.C.W. 35A.14.120 to
determine whether the City of Pasco will accept the proposed
annexation and whether it shall require the assumption of existing
City indebtedness by the area to be annexed or the simultaneous
adoption of a comprehensive plan for said area, and
WHEREAS at said meeting it has been determined by the City
Council that the City will accept said proposed annexation for
consideration and will require the simultaneous adoption of a
comprehensive plan, will waive the assumption of existing City
indebtedness, and that the City will accept said property in low-
density zoning classification mutually acceptable to the petitioner
and the City, and it further being deemed adviseable to record said
action of the City Council by the adoption of this Resolution; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO:
That the City of Pasco, Washington, accept for filing the
petition for the proposed annexation of the property legally
described as follows:
Section 14, Township 9 North, Range 29 E.W.M., situate
in Franklin County, State of Washington.
PASSED by the Council of the City of Pasco this 15 day
