A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PASCO RELATING TO AN INTER -TIE BETWEEN
THE CITY OF PASCO AND THE CITY OF KENNEWICK'S WATER SYSTEMS
WHEREAS, the City of Pasco and the City of Kennewick have been exploring
the feasibility of installing an inter -tie between the water systems of the
two cities by constructing a water pipe -line in conjunction with the
Inter -City Bridge, now under construction, and,
WHEREAS, a water inter -tie connecting the two municipal water systems
appears to have advantages for both Cities, now,Ltherefor,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City of Pasco will explore, with the City of Kennewick, the
feasibility of developing and the cost effectiveness of an inter -tie
between the two City Water Systems.
Section 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect after its
passage as required by law.
