A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PASCO AUTHORIZING
THE CITY TO ENTER IN'T'O A CONTRACT WITH THE
TRI -CITIES VISITOR & CONVENTION BUREAU
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pasco deems it in
the City's best interest to enter into a contract with the Tri -
Cities Visitor & Convention Bureau to provide services for the
City of Pasco, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to execute the contract with the Tri -Cities Visitor
& Convention Bureau, a copy of which is attached hereto, by
this reference incorporated herein.
Section 2. This resolution shall become effective on its
passage and as required by law.

A G R E E M E N T
THIS AGREEMENT entered into this day of ,
1977, between THE CITY OF PASCO, a rqunicipal corporation, herein-
after referred to as Pasco, and THE TRI -CITIES VISITOR&
CONVENTION BUREAU, hereinafter referred to as Convention Bureau;
for an in consideration of the mutual benefits to be derived
hereby and in further consideration of the sum of Three Thousand
($3,000.00) Dollars paid by Pasco to the Convention Bureau, the
parties hereto agree as follows:
1. Pasco shall or shall have.paid to the Convention
Bureau the sum of Three Thousand .($3,000.00) Dollars in 1977.
2. The Convention Bureau shall provide to Pasco the
service of providing advertising stickers, folders, visitor's
guides and tours promoting conventions and stimulating economic
benefits to Pasco caused by visitors and conventions.
3. The Convention Bureau shall answer visitor
inquiries and assist in scheduling events and conventions in the
City of Pasco.
4. The Convention Bureau agrees that said money pro-
vided herein shall be spent for the advertising and promotion
of the City of Pasco.
This agreement is made the day and year first above
written.
