A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PASCO AUTHORIZING THE
CITY TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH BENTON-FRANKLIN
PROBATION SERVICE, INC.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pasco deems it in the City's
best interest to enter into a contract with Benton -Franklin Probation Service, Inc. ,
to provide services for the City of Pasco, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute
the contract with Benton -Franklin Probation Service, Inc. , a copy of which is
attached hereto, by this reference incorporated herein.
Section 2. This resolution shall become effective on its passage and as
required by law.

AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT entered into this day of
, 1977,
between the City of Pasco, a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as Pasco,
and the Benton -Franklin Probation Service, Inc. , hereinafter referred to as Probation
Services;.. for and in consideration of the mutual benefits to be derived hereby and in
further consideration of the sum of three thousand three hundred dollars ($3,300.00)
to be paid by Pasco to Probation Services, the parties hereto agree as follows:
1. Pasco shall pay to Probation Services the sum of Three Thousand Dollars
($3,000.00) in quarterly installments beginning January 1, 1977. In addition Pasco
will pay Probation Services' local telephone service charges in the amount of Three
Hundred Dollars ($300.00) and will provide adequate office space in City Hall.
2. Probation Services shall provide to Pasco, pre -sentence investigations as
requested by the Pasco Police Court
3. Probation Services shall provide to Pasco, supervised probation
counselling as requested by the Pasco Police Court.
This agreement is made the day and year first above written.
