A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PASCO DECLARING A
MORATORIUM ON MOBILE HOME SUBDIVISIONS.
WHEREAS, Pasco Municipal Code, Section 19.24 provides regulations
permitting mobile home subdivisions under certain conditions within
the City of Pasco; and
WHEREAS, The City Council has requested further studies, review
and information for the purpose of determining whether, or not
the creation of any more mobile home subdivision within the City
of Pasco would be in the city's.best interests; and
WHEREAS, It appears to the City Council and city staff such a
study may reasonably take up to six (6) months to complete, now,
therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: A moratorium is hereby declared on any new mobile
home subdivisions within the City of Pasco and such moratorium
shall last for a period of six (6) months unless sooner rescinded
by the City Council. Except for those mobile home subdivisions
which have heretofore come before the City Planning Commission
or the City Council for approval, no such mobile home subdivisions
shall be approved within the City of Pasco during the period
of this moratorium.
Section 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately.
