HomeMy WebLinkAbout1024 ResolutionRESOLUTION NO. 1024 A RESOLUTION FIXING A TIME FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON A PETITION TO VACATE CERTAIN STREETS AND ALLEYS IN THAT PORTION OF MCLEOD'S FIRST ADDITION TO THE CITY OF PASCO LYING SOUTHERLY OF THE NORTH RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF LIBERTY STREET AND WESTERLY OF STATE HIGHWAY NUMBER 395. WHEREAS, a Petition has been filed with the City Clerk and signed by the owners of more than two-thirds of the private property abutting upon the portion of the afore- said streets and alleys sought to be vacated; and WHEREAS, a Public Hearing is required on said Petition; NOW THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That a Public Hearing on said Petition for vacating the following described streets and alleys be held before the City Council in the City Council Chambers, Pasco City Hall, at the hour of 8:00 p.m. on March 16, 1976. Those streets in McLeod's First Addition to Pasco according to the plat thereof recorded in Volume "B" of Plats Page 31, Records of Franklin County Washington. More specifically described as Richmond Street bounded by Liberty Street on the north and Hillsboro Street on the south. Hillsboro Street bounded by Grafton Street on the west and P.S.H. 395 on the east. Also that portion of Tremont Street lying westerly of P.S.H. 395, also alley way in Block 2 and 3 of McLeods First Addition to Pasco, Washington bounded by Liberty Street on the north and Hillsboro Street on the south. Section 2. The City Clerk shall give notice of a Public Hearing on said Petition as required by law. 17 PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED as provide by law this day of February , 1976.
