Roach, City Attorney ✓ 4 POST OFFICE BOX 293 1 PASCO, WASHINGTON 99301 PER'S December 8, 1975 City Council, City of Pasco City Hall Pasco, Washington 99301 Be: Inter -City Bridge Committee Gentlemen: In reviewing the Pasco City Council Agenda for the Tuesday, December 9th workshop meeting, I note a resolution proposed to increase the mem- bership of the Inter -City Bridge Committee. Although the increase in membership might be beneficial to the project, I respectively request that this action not be taken at this time and de- layed until the meeting of both City Councils in January 1976. At that time we will have ample opportunity to discuss the merits of such action with the parties involved. The Inter -City Bridge Committee has functioned as it is now comprised for the past five years, being successful in gathering $25,000,000 and having the project initiated. During the past years the Committee has kept the Councils and the com- munities advised of all activities thereof through its progress reports. As you know, I have recently written to both Councils, present and fu- ture, of both Cities indicating that the Inter -City Bridge Committee will hold an informational meeting with the City Councils as early as pos- sible in January. May I suggest that this informal meeting be held Janu- ary 7, 1976 in the evening at 7:00 P.M. at one or the other designated City Halls. eh:es S inytfeW, td Hen d l e r, Chairman Inter -City Bridge Committee
