HomeMy WebLinkAbout1006 ResolutionRESOLUTION NO. 1006 FAILED BY 3-2 VOTE OF ( THE CITY COUNCIL ON ( OCTOBER 21, 1975 ( ----------------------------- A RESOLUTION APPOINTING A CITY MANAGER FOR THE CITY OF PASCO. WHEREAS, Harry D. Kinzer, City Manager of the City of Pasco terminated his employment with the City on September 5, 1975; and WHEREAS, In answer to the ad placed in the I . C . M .A . News, seventy-seven (77) applications were received and subsequently reviewed by the Council and Council Candidates; and WHEREAS, The Council has made their selection and requested Mr. George D. Smith to fill that vacancy; NOW, THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That Mr. George D. Smith is hereby appointed City Manager of the City of Pasco for an indefinite term commencing October 20, 1975. Section 2. That the salary for the City Manager shall be at the rate of $28,000 an- nually. Section 3. That upon presentation of bills to the City, the City shall pay the moving expense of Mr. Smith from Seattle to Pasco. Section 4. That the City of Pasco shall pay to Mr. Smith for relocation expenses the sum of $250.00. Section 5. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon its passage as re- quired by law.
