A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, COM-
MENDING CAPTAIN KENNETH W. HUTTON FOR HIS 25 YEARS
OF CONTINUOUS SERVICE TO THE CITY OF PASCO.
WHEREAS, Kenneth Hutton began his employment with the City of Pasco on March
13th, 1950 and worked for the City until his retirement on March 14, 1975; and
WHEREAS, For those 25 years Ken served as a member of the Pasco Police Depart-
ment, and advanced up through the ranks to the position of Captain; and
WHEREAS, For his 25 years of continuous service, the City Council of the City
of Pasco wish to recognize and commend Ken in a manner that will be of public
record for now and for posterity; NOW, THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council, for themselves and on behalf of the citizens of
the City of Pasco, extend their thanks to Ken for his 25 years of honorable
service to the community as a member of the Pasco Police Department.
Section 2. That because the Council is meeting in Workshop Session (this being
the second Tuesday of the month) the members of the Council regret that they
are unable to attend the Retirement Dinner tonight - honoring Ken.
Section 3. That the Council extend their best wishes to Ken for his years of
retirement and for success in his new position as Enforcement Officer with the
State Gambling Commission.
Section 4. That as a small memento of appreciation from the City of Pasco,
Captain Kenneth Hutton be and hereby is formally presented with a Plaque of the
City of Pasco.
Section 5. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect after its
passage and approval as required by law.
PASSED and APPROVED this 15 day of April , 1975.
