RESOLUTION NO. 960
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON
RELATING TO AN AREA TRANSPORTATION STUDY.
WHEREAS, the local units of government and the Washington State
Highway Department are desirous of an area transportation study; and
WHEREAS, local units of government working through their Benton -
Franklin Governmental Conference representative have agreed on a basic
organization and preliminary procedure to accomplish said study; and
WHEREAS, the Benton -Franklin Governmental Conference has asked
for their member agencies to support such a study until cost estimates are
available and financial abilities are known; NOW, THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City of Pasco hereby supports this study and directs
the Benton -Franklin Governmental Conference to prepare the prospectus and
negotiate with the Washington State Highway Department for a contract regard-
ing said study.
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect after
its passage as required by law.
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED this 15 day of October
1974.
