HomeMy WebLinkAbout0923 Resolution_00' •. .. a ✓1 RESOLUTION NO. 923 . w A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING CORRIDOR NO. 3 OF U.S. 395 (ELTOPIA TO CONNELL SECTION) . WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Pasco, Washington is vitally concerned with the impact of Highway Planning in Franklin County; and WHEREAS, U.S. 395 is a vital economic link in the transportation system serving Pasco; and WHEREAS, It is necessary to review the Corridors with emphasis on environ- mental impact; NOW, THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That U.S. 395 is essential to the traffic needs of the Tri -City area and that the present Eltopia to Connell section is sub -standard and needs improvement. Section 2. That adverse environmental affects would be less utilizing Corridor No. 3 than the other corridors . Section 3. That the City of Pasco therefore recommends Corridor No. 3 of the U.S. 3 95 Eltopia to Connell section be approved. Section 4. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect after its passage as required by law. day of PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED as provided by law, this 19 June . 1973 Approved as to form: -r ' D.
