HomeMy WebLinkAbout0916 ResolutionRESOLUTION NO. 916 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE WORK DONE BY GREGORY BROTHERS CEMENT CO., UNDER JOB NO. 70-18 SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION IN THE URBAN RENEWAL REHABILITATION AREA CONSISTING OF SCHED- ULE NO. 1 OWENS AVENUE, SCHEDULE NO. 2 DOUGLAS AVENUE, SCHEDULE NO. 3 BEECH AVENUE, SCHEDULE NO. 4 BUTTE STREET, SCHEDULE NO. 5 HELENA STREET, SCHEDULE NO. 6 ALTON STREET, SCHEDULE NO. 7 WEHE AVENUE, AND SCHEDULE NO1. 8 ELM AVENUE. WHEREAS, the work done by Gregory Brothers Cement Co., under Job No-. 70-18 Sidewalk Construction in the Urban Renewal Rehabilitation Area has been duly examined by the City Engineer and the City Engineer having found that the work on said project has been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications of said project, and it appears that the City should now accept the same and concur in in the Engineer's recommendation, now therefore; THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the City Council concurs in the Engineer's recommendations and finds that work done under Job No. 70-18 Sidewalk Construction in the Urban Renewal Rehabilitation area has been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications of said project, and therefore, the City Council should accept the same. Section 2. That the said City of Pasco does now accept the work done by Gregory Brothers Cement Co., on Job No. 70-18 Sidewalk Construction in the Urban Renewal Rehabilitation Area consisting of Schedule No. 1 Owens Avenue, Schedule No. 2 Douglas Avenue, Schedule No. 3 Beech Avenue, Schedule No. 4 Butte Street, Schedule No. 5 Helena Street, Schedule No. 6 Alton Street, Schedule No. 7 Wehe Avenue, and Schedule No. 8 Elm Avenue, as the same has been completed by said con- tractor in accordance with the plans and specifications of said project. Section 3. That the Department of Labor and Industries and the Washington State Tax Commission be notified of the acceptance of this work.
