A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A NEW OFFICIAL ZONING MAP
FOR THE CITY OF PASCO AND ESTABLISHING A NEW
COLOR CODE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is hereby created a new official zoning
map for the City of Pasco, establishing a new zoning color code
hereinafter described.

Section 2. All zoning maps and color code classifications
adopted with Ordinance No. 1203 on August 17, 1965, are hereby
repealed.
Section 3. The official zoning map shall be identified by the
signature of the Mayor of Pasco, and attested by the City Clerk of the
City of Pasco. An original copy marked "Exhibit A" shall be located
in the Office of the County Auditor and shall be final authority as
to the current zoning status of land and water areas, buildings and
other structures of the City.
Section 4. This Resolution is in full force and effect after
its passage as required by law.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco, Washington, at
a regular meeting thereof, and APPROVED by the Mayor of the City this
7 day of July, 1970.

Attention: Mr. Max L. Pope, City Manager
Gentlemen:
Please be advised that at their regular meeting of July 11, 1970,
the City Planning Commission passed a unanimous motion to reco-
mmend to the Council the change in color code of the City of Pasco
Zoning Maps. The proposed color code is attached for your perusal.
The Planning Commission is in agreement that the colors are more
easily distinguishable than the old color code.
A new zoning classification was also added (R-4 zone) which will be
a special zoning classification for a Mobile Home Subdivision. The
requirements and specifications for an R-4 zone will be submitted
at a later date for your approval and adoption as part of the Zoning
Ordinance.
Five colored maps have been prepared for signature.
