BOARD FOR THE CITY OF PASCO, DEFINING ITS MEMBERSHIP,
LISTING TERMS OF OFFICE, AND PRESCRIBING DUTIES AND 01010,
REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 805. •IVO

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is hereby established a Park and Recreation
Advisory Boa- rdor Lire City of Pasco, which shall advise the City Council
on matters relating to Park and Recreation Programs, and needs and
facilities of the City and which shall perform such other functions as may
be assigned to it from time to time by the City Council.
Section 2. The Board shall consist of seven (7) members, who
shall beelectors of the City of Pasco, and who shall be appointed by the
Mayor and confirmed by the City Council.
Section 3. The members shall serve for a term of three (3)
years, prov i nTcf -g t rFaat the first term shall be for one, two and three years
respectively, and thereafter for three years in such manner that one term
shall expire each year.
Section 4. The Board shall annually elect its own chairman,
shall keep records of its meetings which shall be open to public inspection,
and shall establish the procedure which it shall follow for conducting its
meetings and transacting business before it.
Section 5. The Board members shall not receive any salary or
other compensation mor services performed and shall hold office at the
pleasure of the Mayor.
Section 6. Resolution No. 805 is hereby repealed.
Section 7. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect after
its passage as required by law.
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED as provided by law this
Z day of June 1970.
