A RESOLUTION TO NAME "PASCO BULLDOG WEEK"
WHEREAS, The Pasco High School Bulldogs Basketball Team has
compiled a 24-0 record to date, and
WHEREAS, The Bulldogs will represent Pasco in the State Finals,
March 20 - 21, 1970 in Seattle, Washington, and
WHEREAS, As Pasco has won the league, District and Region IV
championships in basketball, and
WHEREAS, The Bulldogs, under Coach Don Monson, have been District
Champions for three (3) straight years; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE WEEK OF MARCH 16 - 21, 1970, be proclaimed by
the Pasco City Council as "PASCO BULLDOG WEEK."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Coach Don Monson, Assistant John Crawford,
and the Pasco Higle Basketball Team be given special commendation for their
fine season by the Pasco City Council.
This Resolution shall be in full force and effect after its passage
as required by law.
PASSED this 17 day of March 1970.
