RESOLUTION NO. 799
A. RESOLUTION DECLARING THAT THE
ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
IS NECESSARY FOR URBAN RENEWAL.
WHEREAS, the City of Pasco has previously resolved, in
Resolution No. 684, that certain blighted areas exist within the City
and that rehabilitation, redevelopment, or a combination thereof, is
necessary in the interest of the public health, safety, morals or
welfare of the residents of the City of Pasco; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 729 has been adopted providing
for public hearings to determine findings regarding urban renewal
areas; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 730 has been adopted approving
the urban renewal plan and feasibility of relocation; and
WHEREAS, RCW 35.81. 080 requires that, before a
municipality may acquire by condemnation any interest in real
property for an urban renewal project, a resolution that certain
real property is necessary for the purpose of urban renewal, and
that certain real property, as listed below, is in fact necessary for
the urban renewal project; and the City of Pasco has been unable to
acquire the below described parcels by negotiation and purchase,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PASCO HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The acquisition of the parcels of the,following
described real property is necessary for the purpose of carrying
out the urban renewal project previously adopted by the City of Pasco:
Lots 6, 7 and 8, Block 120, Pasco Land Company's
First Addition to Pasco, Washington, according to
the plat recorded in Volume B of Plats, page 39,
records of Franklin County, Washington.
Lots 9 and 10, Block 120, Pasco Land Company's
First Addition to Pasco, according to the plat thereof
recorded in Volume B of Plats, page 39, records of
Franklin County, Washington,

Lots 8, 9, 15 and 16, Block 102, Plat of Pasco, filed
in the office of the auditor of Franklin County,
Washington, and which plat is sometimes known as
Northern Pacific Railroad Company's Plat of Pasco.
Lots 407 and 408, Block 12, Terrace Heights,
according to plat thereof recorded in Volume B of
Plats, page 53, records of Franklin County, Washington.
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED as provided by
law this day of 1969.
