HomeMy WebLinkAbout0738 ResolutionRESOLUTION NO. 738 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CONTINUANCE OF POLICE AND FIRE PROTECTION AT THE PASCO AIRPORT UNDER TERMS OF TRANSFER AGREEMENT OF JULY, 1963. WHEREAS, the City of Pasco transferred the Pasco Airport to the Port of Pasco, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pasco and the Commissioners of the Port of Pasco have reviewed and agreed on the amount of reimbursement, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City will continue to provide police and fire protection to t e Pasco Airport. Section 2. The City Council agrees to provide this pro- tection for $1,600.00 per year. Section 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into such agreements as are necessary to fulfill the intent of this Resolution. Section 4. The anniversary date for the next renewal period will be December 31, 1973, and the 90 -day negotiation period will begin on September 30, 1973. Section 5. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect after its passage as required by law. PASSED by the Cityy Council and approved as provided by law, this 16 day of JuIY 1968.
